Following the sale of MMM (ex. Karima) in 2020, the custom expedition yacht by Amels was swiftly booked into Balk Shipyard for a maintenance study and a small list of works. MMM was handed over to her new Owner after the work was completed.

Scope of work
MMM is a custom expedition yacht, delivered by Amels in 1993. She had been meticulously maintained prior to her appointment at Balk Shipyard and we were appointed to make a maintenance survey for her new Owner.
Balk Shipyard cleaned the freshwater tanks, repaired the main water inlet and sea chest and serviced the navigation equipment.
We also applied antifouling paint to sections of the hull, including around the exhaust outlets. Following her sea trials from our shipyard in Urk, the Netherlands, MMM was handed over to her new Owner, who embarked on their maiden voyage on their newly purchased yacht.
