The renowned new build yacht builder Burger Boat Company commissioned a 37-tonne aluminium superstructure from Balk Shipyard. All work was carried out in the Netherlands and then transported to Burger Boat Company’s shipyard in the US.

Scope of work
Balk Shipyard offers an international service and is often commissioned for aluminium fabrication projects from both sides of the Atlantic. This aluminium superstructure for the leading US shipbuilder Burger Boat Company was 38 metres in length with a beam of 10 metres.
Balk Shipyard oversaw the preparation and engineering of the superstructure, handling all the cutting, bending and welding. We then organised the transport, shipping the completed superstructure across the Atlantic to Wisconsin, US.
