Balk Shipyard has three state-of-the-art construction halls, which are air-conditioned and equipped with floor heating. The air humidity, compression and temperature can all be regulated, and each hall contains a rail system connected to our slipway and an overhead crane. Yachts are easily lifted out of the water with our unique lifting system, positioned on a rail track and then moved to the right hall.
OUR HALLS
HALL 1
Our main construction hall is for surveys or large refit and rebuild projects. Hall 1 is fully air-conditioned, well-ventilated and temperature-controlled. This is our largest indoor facility and where we can comfortably work on yachts up to 65 metres in length.

HALL 2
Hall 2 is our widest indoor facility and large enough for two 50-metre yachts. Primarily used for refit, rebuild and new build construction, Hall 2 has all the necessary facilities to conduct all shipbuilding activities. It is air-conditioned and temperature-controlled and overlooked by our office spaces.

Hall 3, located on the opposite side of our yard, is perfectly set up for refit and rebuild projects. Balk Shipyard builds aluminium hulls and superstructures for shipyards worldwide, and many sections have been built in this hall.
